    The content of the work compares the position of women in Spain during the dictatorship of Francisco Franco and the position of women in socialist Czechoslovakia. It focuses mainly on ideological approaches to the ideal of women in terms of Francoism and socialism and the efforts of the official authorities to meet them through various legislative measures, organizations and ideological education. The objective is to find out if these two ideals can be compared and to what extent and in what they may resemble, although according to official rhetoric these ideals are completely different. The work focuses on the position of women in three essential areas of life, that of education, family life and work, examining the differences in the education system and attitude to women education during these two periods, official attitude to the model of family and the position of women in it, also deals with discrimination of women at work and the influence of women's organizations to include women in the labour market.
