    The DT is focused on determining the general terminology and summarizing the latest findings on leisure time of elderly school-age children with cerebral palsy. It sets itself an aim to compile (using a questionnaire) information on intensity and quality of leisure time activities, and especially to find the answers on where the children spend their time, with whom and whether they are satisfied. The aim has been accomplished. The DT is based on two key areas. The first, theoretical part, was focused on more detailed specification of terms like cerebral palsy, leisure time, psychical development of handicapped elderly school-age children and methodology issues in the field of leisure time activities research, based on the compiled literary resources, while the second, practical part, was focused on achievement of goals set in the theoretical part of the DT, through 56 questionnaires. The DT results confirmed rather passive spending of leisure time by children with cerebral palsy. It points to areas where and with whom the children usually spend their leisure time and whether they are satisfied or not. As the most significant outcome of the DP we can consider the findings on the way how the children with cerebral palsy spend their leisure time, so we can focus on it to make it more effective and well-arranged.
