    The theme of this Bachelor thesis is Islam and the Muslim community living in the Czech Republic. Looking into its history, it tries to outline an evolution of the relations between Czechs and Muslims living here. The thesis presents the main organizations and institutions associated with the Czech Muslims and their religious and culture customs. In addition, it also shows that Czechs find the theme of Islam interesting. Various language schools offer courses of Arabic and there are also several university studies devoted to the topic of Islam and the language.
