The aim of this work is based on the use of marketing research information systems to propose a suitable solution for a fictitious medium-sized companies in the clothing industry. The work is divided into two main chapters. The theoretical part deals with information and Enterprise Resource Planning systems in general, and briefly informs with the chosen ERP system and also briefly explains the general problems of operational planning and record production. The second part is almost composed of the actual market survey and design of suitable ERP systems in the clothing business. Finally, I summarize the whole issue.
