    Průpravná, herní cvičení a průpravné hry v softballu na 1. stupni ZŠ

    The aim of the diploma thesis was to create a guide book of practices and games for the instruction of softball at primary school. One part of the work is to provide a summary of professional theoretical literature, to chart the situation in children´s softball teams and to implement a public inquiry. The sociometric investigation relating to the interest of primary school pupils and teachers in the instruction of softball as a part of physical education classes was conducted at eight primary schools in Liberec and Prague. It was found out that the interest in and the attraction of the game is quite high. Based on the findings a guide book of practices and games for the instruction of softball was created. It should help teachers to be able to lead children from single gaming practices and preparatory games to proper softball playing.
