Ph.D. Skolitel : 54885The study Automated anomaly detection in geophysical survey isthe application of machine learning and computer vision techniquesto the geophysical data. The two main applications were testedduring the research. The research is mainly focused on the surfacegeophysics. The fast scanning of an area for an appearance of a setof predefined anomalies is the main focus of the thesis. The researchwas applied to potential fields. Three types of detection were tested:image processing techniques, the supported machine learning withclassifiers and adaptive neural networks. The second applicationmentioned in the thesis is the application of the research resultsto a continuous monitoring process. The structure of the object isknown and all the significant temporal changes in the data are tobe detected and interpreted. The thesis gives a summary of thestate of the research on the selected topic. It includes a proposalof the algorithms and it summarizes the achieved results.
