Abstract
This thesis is concerning with economic growth in the Czech Republic. It is aimed at the economic development of the Czech Republic since its formation and at the selected elements which has influenced or are still influencing the economic growth. The theoretical part contains the essential theory of economic growth, the Solow growth model, the endogenous growth theory and the contributions of Douglas C. North and Mancur Olson.
Diplomová práce se zabývá ekonomickým růstem v České republice. Zaměřuje se na ekonomický vývoj České republiky od doby jejího vzniku a také na vybrané faktory, které ekonomický růst ovlivnily a ovlivňují. Teoretická část obsahuje nezbytnou teorii ekonomického růstu od Solowova modelu přes teorie endogenního růstu Paula Romera a R. E. Lucase až po příspěvky Douglase C. Northa a Mancura Olsona.
