Abstract
Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na ověření možnosti běžného a pravidelného používání počítačů při procvičování gramatiky v rámci výuky anglického jazyka na základní škole. Práce je zaměřena na gramatiku probíranou v souladu s učebnicovou řadou Project 1 - 4 a proto hodnotí zejména zdroje s ní kompatibilní. Jedná se především o výukový program Terasoft Angličtina a webové stránky vydavatelství Oxford University Press s online procvičováním. Součástí práce je praktický projekt uskutečněný v 5. - 9. ročníku základní školy, jehož záměrem bylo ověření efektivity interaktivních aktivit při výuce anglického jazyka. Cílem bylo pomoci žákům lépe porozumět gramatickým jevům a umět je použít v různém kontextu, ale také naučit je samostatné práci a motivovat je tak daleko intenzivněji k výuce anglického jazyka. Ověření správnosti navržených aktivit bylo realizováno cíleným pozorováním žáků při výuce a následnými reflexemi, zhodnocením výsledků jejich práce a analýzou odpovědí dětí, které uvedly v dotazníku. Na základě tohoto hodnocení je možné stanovit, že procvičování gramatiky na počítači je motivující i efektivní a zdokonaluje proces učení.
The diploma thesis deals with investigating the possibility of everyday, regular use of computers in practising grammar within English lessons at basic school. The thesis focuses on grammar that corresponds with the textbook series Project English 1 - 4 and therefore it evaluates the sources that are compatible with this material. These sources include educational programme ``Terasoft Angličtina`` and Oxford University Press web pages with on-line practice. Part of the diploma thesis is a professional project, realized at 5th - 9th grades at basic school, which aimed to prove effectiveness of interactive activities used in English lessons. The project was designed to help the learners better understand various grammar issues and use them in different contexts, and also to direct them to independent work and therefore motivate them more intensively to learning English. In order to evaluate the whole project, the following means of evaluating were used: focused observation of the learners during lessons, follow-up reflections, evaluation of learners´ results in tests, and finally analysis of the outcomes of the questionnaire. Based on this evaluation it is possible to conclude that practising grammar with the use of computer is motivating and effective, and thus improves the whole process of learning.
