Abstract
Diplomová práce se zabývá ilustracemi knih literárního fantasy žánru. V teoretické části se věnujeme samotné ilustraci, jejímu vzniku a vývoji ve světě i u nás, technikami ilustrací, ilustrátory literární fantastiky, dále se zaměřujeme na teorii tvorby a čtení obrazu, poté hovoříme o fantasy žánru. V praktické části se zaměřujeme na celý proces tvorby ilustrací dle fantasy knihy, nejprve zkoumáme myšlenky ilustrátora při čtení knihy a poté ilustrace tvoříme kombinovanou technikou tuše s akrylovými barvami. Snažíme se přiblížit tento proces z pohledu ilustrátora. Ve výzkumné části diplomové práce zjišťujeme, jak žáci a dospělí vnímají vytvořené ilustrace, a na základě příběhů dle ilustrací hledáme shody s fantasy knihou. Součástí výzkumné části je také dotazník, kde zjišťujeme oblíbenost knih podle množství ilustrací.
This diploma thesis is occupied with fantasy book illustrations. In the theoretical part we are dedicated to an illustration itself, its origins and development in the world and in Czech Republic as well, to techniques of illustrations, illustrators of literary fan-tasy. Furthermore, it is aimed on theory of creating and reading of an image and then we discuss the fantasy genre as well. In the practical part the thesis is concerned with the whole process of creating illustrations for fantasy books, first we examine the illustrator's thoughts while reading the book and then we create the illustrations with a combined technique of ink and acrylic colours. We are trying to describe this process from the perspective of the illustrator. In the researching part of the thesis we are examining how students and adults perceive the created illustrations and on the basis of the stories from the illustrations we are looking for the correspon-dence with the fantasy book. A questionnaire is included in the researcher part in which we are discovering the popularity of books according to the number of illustrations in them.
