Abstract
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá oblastí Business Intelligence jako podpory rozhodování manažerů ve vedení podniků. Po vymezení pojmu Business Intelligence následuje část věnována jeho hlavním komponentám, především datovému skladu a multidimenzionálnímu modelování dat. Následuje kapitola zabývající se přístupy k vedení projektů implementace Business Intelligence a kapitola využití ve výrobním podniku. Teoretická část je zakončena současnými trendy a dodavateli na současném trhu s Business Intelligence.Hlavní cíl práce je vytvořit Business Intelligence aplikaci a integrovat ji do informačního systému konkrétního výrobního podniku. Dílčími cíli jsou navrhnout a implementovat datový sklad, ETL procesy a vytvořit nástroje pro komplexní datovou analýzu finančního a výrobního oddělení ve formě OLAP kostek. Práce je zakončena zhodnocením implementovaného řešení.
This bachelor thesis deals with the area of Business Intelligence as a support for decision-making of managers in the company management. After defining the concept of Business Intelligence, the following chapters deal with components of Business Intelligence, especially the Data Warehouse and multidimensional data modelling. Next chapters discuss approaches to managing Business Intelligence implementation projects and the use of Business Intelligence in manufacturing company. Theoretical part is ended by current trends and vendors in the current Business Intelligence market.The main goal of this thesis is to create Business Intelligence application and integrate it into the information system of a particular manufacturing company. Partial goals of thesis are to design and implement the Data Warehouse, ETL processes and create tools for complex data analysis of financial and production department in the form of OLAP cubes. Thesis is ended by evaluation of implemented solution.
