Abstract
Budova Kina Hviezda je chápaná ako jedna z dôležitých kultúrnych prvkov mesta Trenčín. Diplomová práca sa zaoberá novým programom fungovania dvoch prevádzok kultúrnej sféry, ktoré sa v rámci jednej budovy vzájomne prepájajú. Snaží sa vytvoriť jeden hmotný celok, ktorý budove pomôže, ale naopak ju ako kultúrnú národnú pamiatku výrazne neohrozí. Pôvodný funkcionalistický program starej budovy je rozšírený o zážitok si vedieť užiť cestu za HVIEZDOU od úplne samotného začiatku.
The building of Kino Hviezda - Cinema Star is perceived as one of the most important cultural features of the town Trenčín. The diploma thesis deals with a new programme of use for two facilities of cultural area, which are connected within one building. It attempts to create one physical unit, which will not only help the building, but will not significantly endanger the cultural landmark as well. The original functionalist programme of the old building is extended with the experience of enjoying the journey following the STAR from the very beginning.
