Abstract
Bakalářská práce podává přehled o třech teoriích nacionalismu podle významných badatelů Benedicta Andersona, Ernesta Gellnera a Erica J. Hobsbawma. V prvních třech kapitolách práce popíše autorka myšlenky a názory výše zmíněných teoretiků na národy a nacionalismus. Primárně bude vycházet z děl: Představy společenství od B. Andersona, Národy a nacionalismus od E. Gellnera a Národy a nacionalismus od roku 1780 od E. J. Hobsbawma. Ve čtvrté kapitole autorka provede komparaci těchto děl a poukáže na společné prvky a odlišnosti teorií uvedených autorů. V závěru bakalářské práce autorka podá ucelený historický obraz nacionalismu a shrne informace, které jsou v práci uvedené.
The Bachelor thesis provides an overview of three theories of nationalism based on works of significant explorers Benedict Anderson, Ernest Gellner and Eric J. Hobsbawm. In the first three chapters the author of the work describes thoughts and opinions of the above mentioned theorists on nations and nationalism. It will be primarily based on these works: Imagined communities by B. Anderson, Nations and Nationalism by E. Gellner and Nations and Nationalism since 1780 by E. J. Hobsbawm. In the fourth chapter the author will draw a comparison of the works and point out what elements they have in common and their differences. In the end, the author will provide a comprehensive historical view of nationalism and summarize information mentioned in the work.
