Abstract
Diplomová práce se zabývala uplatnitelností lidí s mentálním postižením na trhu práce, jejich možnostmi při výběru školy, nabídkou studijních oborů, které by je připravily na vstup do zaměstnání. Práci je rozdělena na dvě stěžejní části. Teoretická část tvoří východisko pro empirickou a s využitím odborných zdrojů popisuje problematiku mentálního postižení, pracovního uplatnění, možnosti vzdělání a související legislativu. Empirická část je zpracována formou kvalitativního výzkumu, jehož převážnou část tvořily polostrukturované rozhovory vedené s lidmi s mentálním postižením, kteří pracují a žijí na území hlavního města Prahy, vedoucí pracovnicí úřadu práce a agentury pro podporované zaměstnávání. Hlavním cílem bylo zjistit na pracovním trhu celkovou situaci lidí s mentálním postižením a jejich možnosti přípravy ve školách. Bylo zjištěno, že se lidé s mentálním postižením často neuplatní ve vystudovaném oboru, potřebují po nástupu do práce podporu k udržení si zaměstnání, praktická příprava na školách neprobíhá často v běžném prostředí, ale velmi dobře funguje v této oblasti nestátní, neziskový sektor. Smyslem práce bylo odhalit skutečnou situaci v oblasti zaměstnávání lidí s mentálním postižením.
The diploma thesis deals with the applicability of people with mental disabilities in the labor market, their possibilities in choosing a school, offering study fields that would prepare them for entry into employment. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part forms the basis for the empirical part. The theoretical part using reviews scientific research, describes the issues of mental disability, employment, education and related legislation. The empirical part is elaborated in the form of qualitative research, the majority of which were semi-structured interviews conducted with people with mental disabilities of working and living in the territory of the Capital City of Prague, the head of the labor office and the head of agency for supported employment. The main goal of this thesis was to find out the overall situation in the labor market for people with mental disabilities and their possibilities of study. It has been found that people with mental disabilities often do not work in a field of study, they need support to keep job, practical training at schools is not often in a normal working environment, and a non-profit, non-government organization works very well. The results of the research led to concrete proposals. The purpose of the work was to find out the real situation in the employment of people with mental disabilities.
