Abstract
Bakalářská práce se opírá o dílo W. Kandinského a D. Flavina, jejichž odlišné přístupy se snaží sklenout. Zabývá se komponováním v prostoru prostřednictvím světelných prvků. Výsledek bude prezentován jako prostorová instalace reagující na konkrétní prostor a reflektující jeho specifika. Práce se inspiruje realizacemi D. Flavina, především jeho používání průmyslově vyráběných světel v uměleckém projevu. Kompozice budou současně polemizovat s obsahem knihy Bod - linie - plocha od W. Kandinského a rozvíjet otázky používání základních prvků, jež mohou být jak dodržovány tak i porušovány.
The bachelor thesis focuses on the artwork of W. Kandinsky and D. Flavin where their different approaches try to come together. It is aimed at composing in space through light elements. The result will be presented as a spatial installation reacting to the particular space while reflecting it's specifics. The work is inspired by the realizations of Flavin, mainly his use of industrially produced lights in the artistic expression. At the same time, the compositions will argue with the content of the book Point and Line to Plane by Kandinsky and develop questions on the use of basic elements that can be both adhered but also breached.
