Abstract
Diplomová práce se zabývá dopady dohody o volném obchodu mezi EU a Jižní Koreou na český automobilový průmysl. První část práce pojednává o Společné obchodní politice Evropské unie a popisuje, na jakých principech a společných cílech tato politika funguje. Dále přibližuje některé již uzavřené dohody na vybraných stupních ekonomické integrace. Cílem práce je zhodnocení vybrané dohody o volném obchodu, proto je v další části detailně popsána dohoda EUKFTA se všemi oblastmi působnosti. Po této části následuje popis vztahů mezi EU a Jižní Koreou, odvíjející se od historického navazování prvních vztahů, přes profil korejské obchodní politiky, až k současnému vzájemnému obchodu mezi oběma partnery.Další kapitoly se zaměřují na stručnou charakteristiku makroekonomických ukazatelů Jižní Koreje a České republiky, které poskytují základ k analýze automobilového průmyslu obou zemí. Při charakteristice automobilového průmyslu obou zemí cílí autor práce zejména na poskytnutí základních informací o finálních výrobcích automobilů vyráběných v obou zemích, poté celkovou výrobu a prodej na tamních trzích. V poslední kapitole, hodnotící dopady dohody na český automobilový průmysl, je cíleno na změnu vzájemného obchodu před aplikací dohody a po ní, vše s přihlédnutím k obchodu v automobilovém průmyslu.Jako hlavní cíl práce si autor určil potvrzení či vyvrácení hypotézy, že dohoda EUKFTA měla za příčinu rychlejší růst poptávky českých spotřebitelů po automobilech jihokorejských značek Hyundai a Kia v jednotlivých třídách než po modelech značky Škoda Auto. V závěru práce autor hodnotí dopady a přidává návrh svého řešení a doporučení.
The diploma thesis deals with the impact of the EU-Korea free trade agreement on the Czech automobile industry. The first part deals with the European Union´s Common Commercial Policy and describes the principles and common objectives of it. It also outlines some agreements already concluded at selected degrees of economic integration. The goal of the work is to evaluate the selected free trade agreement, so the next part describes in detail the EUKFTA agreement with all areas of scope. That section is followed by a description of EU-South Korea relations, ranging from the historical establishment of the first relations, through the profile of Korean trade policy to the current trade between the two partners.The next chapters focus on a brief characteristics of the macroeconomic indicators of South Korea and the Czech Republic, which provide a basis for the analysis of the automotive industry in both countries. In characterizing the automotive industry of both countries, the author aims mainly to provide basic information about the final car manufacturers in both countries, then the total production and sales in the local markets. In the last chapter evaluating the effects of the agreement on the Czech automotive industry, it is aimed at changes in mutual trade before and after the application of the agreement, all with regard to trade in the automobile industry.The autor's main goal of the thesis was to confirm or reject the hypothesis whether the EUKFTA agreement caused faster growth of Czech consumer demand for cars of the South Korean brands Hyundai and Kia in individual classes than for Škoda Auto models. At the end of the paper, the author evaluates the impacts and proposes his solution and recommendation.
