Abstract
Předmětem diplomové práce je charakterizovat vznik a fungování jednotné evropské měny euro a teorii měnových kurzů a na základě zjištěných poznatků predikovat, jaké výhody či nevýhody může mít zavedení eura v České republice na exportující podniky, konkrétně cestovní agenturu chorvatsko-levne.cz, s. r. o.Úvodní kapitoly se věnují důvodům vzniku a základnímu systému fungování eura, včetně teoretického vymezení přínosů a nákladů. Součástí jsou teoretické i praktické poznatky a názory českých ekonomů, které jsou pro zavedení eura v České republice důležité. Poznatky českých ekonomů doplňují názory dvou nositelů Nobelovy ceny za ekonomii, Josepha E. Stiglitze a Roberta A. Mundella, kteří popisují důležitost reforem i výhody eura. Další část pojednává o teorii měnových kurzů, kurzovém riziku a dopadech kurzového rizika na české exportující podniky se zaměřením na agenturu chorvatsko-levne.cz. Část práce je věnována zhodnocení a případnému vyvrácení čtyř nejčastějších argumentů proti zavedení eura v České republice.Poslední část práce hodnotí předpokládané dopady a výhody zavedení eura na hospodářské výsledky cestovní agentury chorvatsko-levne.cz.
The subject of the diploma thesis is to describe the creation and functioning of the single European currency and the exchange rate theory and based on obtained results estimate advantages and disadvantages for export companies caused by the adoption of the euro currency in the Czech Republic, especially to the travel agency chorvatsko-levne.cz, s. r.o.Initial chapters deal with the reasons of creation and the basic system of euro´s functioning, including a theoretical definition of its benefits and costs. This part includes theoretical and practical knowledge and opinions of Czech economists, which are important for the adoption of the euro in the Czech Republic. The findings of Czech economists complement the opinions of two Nobel Prize winners in economics, Joseph E. Stiglitz and Robert A. Mundell, who describe the importance of reforms and the benefits of the euro.The next part addresses with the exchange rate theory, exchange rate risk and its impact on Czech export companies, focusing on the travel agency chorvatsko-levne.cz. A part of the thesis is dedicated to the evaluation and possible refutation of the four most common arguments against the adoption of the euro in the Czech Republic.The final part of the thesis evaluates the expected impacts and advantages of adoption of the euro on the economic results of travel agency chorvatsko-levne.cz.
