Abstract
Diplomová práce se zabývá přístupovými procedurami Turecka k Evropské unii. Práce je zaměřena na problematiku v Turecku a neúspěch ve snahách o přistoupení, které probíhají už po několik desetiletí. Od počátku snah zůstávají kritéria stejná, nicméně i nadále zůstávají nedosaženým cílem. První část této diplomové práce je zaměřena na vysvětlení evropských integračních teorií a na vývoj Evropské unie, kterou integrační teorie ovlivnily. Druhá část diplomové práce s názvem Podmínky vstupu do EU se zabývá podmínkami vstupu do Evropské unie, především Kodaňskými a Maastrichtskými kritérii. Třetí nejrozsáhlejší část této práce analyzuje přístupová jednání Turecka od počátku snah o přistoupení až po současnou situaci. V poslední části práce jsou vyhodnoceny přístupové procedury a pokrok Turecka na základě Zprávy o přístupovém pokroku Turecka, jež byla vydána Evropskou komisí v roce 2019.
The diploma thesis deals with Turkey's accession procedures to the European Union. The thesis focuses on the issue in Turkey and the failure of accession efforts, which have been going on for several decades. The criteria have remained the same since the beginning of the effort, but they remain an unattained target.The first part of this diploma thesis is focused on the explanation of European integration theories and on the development of the European Union which was influenced by integration theories.The second part of the diploma thesis entitled Conditions for accession to the European Union, especially the Copenhagen and Maastricht criteria.The third part of this work which is the most extensive, analyzes Turkey's accession negotiations from the beginning of its accession efforts to the current situation.The last part of the thesis evaluates Turkey's accession procedures and progress on the basis of the Report on Turkey which was issued by the European Commission in 2019.
