Abstract
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá obrazovou analýzou mikroskopických preparátů parazitologických vzorků malárie. Cílem této práce je navrhnout vhodný algoritmus pro detekci struktur podezřelých z obsahu plasmodií ve snímcích krevních vzorků. Teoretická část pojednává obecně o daném onemocnění, jak běžně probíhá jeho laboratorní diagnostika a o epidemiologii. Dále jsou zde předloženy informace o původci, jeho vývojovém cyklu a způsobech přenosu následované popisem technického řešení optického mikroskopu, jenž se pro laboratorní diagnostiku malárie běžně používá. V praktické části je popsána analýza a postup detekce malarických plasmodií v krevních vzorcích.
The Bachelor thesis deals with a topic of image analysis of microscopic slides of parasitological samples of malaria. The main goal of this thesis is to design a suitable algorithm for detection of structures believed to contain plasmodium in images of blood samples. The theoretical part of this thesis describes malaria itself, general process of its laboratory diagnosis and about epidemiology. Furthermore there are information on different types of malaria parasites, their life cycle and specific ways of transmission to human characteristic for each type, followed by description of technical solution of a microscope which is commonly used for laboratory diagnosis of malaria. Practical part includes description of analysis and procedure of detection trophozoites in blood samples.
