Abstract
Kolostomie je souhrnné označení pro vyústění tlustého střeva přes tělní stěnu. Zavádí se v případech, kdy je nutné tlusté střevo a konečník chirurgicky odstranit, což bývá nejčastěji při onkologických onemocněních. Nejčastější onkologickou diagnózou u českých mužů je právě kolorektální karcinom, u českých žen je toto onemocnění na druhém místě, těsně následováno za karcinomem prsu. Je tedy jasné, že pacientů s kolostomií přibývá. Proto je důležité, aby studenti vycházejícího oboru Všeobecná sestra měli vědomosti a dovednosti v ošetřovatelské péči o pacienta s kolostomií. Cílem bakalářské práce bylo zjistit znalosti studentů oboru Všeobecná sestra o kolostomii. Teoretická část se zabývá charakteristikou onemocnění, rizikovými faktory, vyšetřovacími metodami a také ošetřovatelskou péčí o pacienta s kolostomií. Výzkumná část je analýzou dat získaných od respondentů oboru Všeobecná sestra.
Colostomy is a general term for an opening colon through the anterior abnominal wall. It sets up in cases when it is necessary to remove surgically the colon and the rectum which is most common oncological diseases. The most common oncological diagnose is colorectal cancer among the Czech men. With Czech women who are affected by this disease on second place followed closely by breast cancer. It is evident that patients with colostomy increase. Therefore, it is important even for students enrolled in a Generic Nurse training program to gain the sufficient knowledge and skills necessary to care for patient with colostomy. The aim of the bachelor thesis was to find out the General Nursing students's knowledge about colostomy. The theoretical part deals with characterictics of the disease, risk factors, examination methods and as well as nursing care of a patient with colostomy. The research part is an analysis of the data obtained from the respondents of Generic Nurse training program.
