Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zabývala problematikou socializace osob s mentálním postižením, zejména klientů ÚSP. Vycházela ze současného trendu školní a sociální integrace osob s mentálním postižením do společnosti, do přirozeného sociálního prostředí v co největší míře. Hlavním cílem práce bylo dokázat, že pravidelným kontaktem s ostatními lidmi se klienti ÚSP lépe přizpůsobují životu ve společnosti a naopak společnost snáze akceptuje je. Práci tvořily dvě stěžejní části. Teoretická část popisovala základní problematiku mentální retardace a postavení jedince s mentálním postižením ve společnosti před a po roce 1990. Navazovala praktická část, která se zabývala vyhodnocením a interpretací výsledků průzkumu, který proběhl formou dotazníku a rozhovoru za účelem poukázat na důležitost vzájemného kontaktu osob s mentálním postižením a zdravé populace. Cílem průzkumu bylo ověřit význam zavádění integrovaných škol a smysl zvyšování informovanosti žáků základních škol o dané problematice postižení.
The Bachelor thesis was concerned with problems of socialization of mentally disabled persons, especially clients of Institution of social care. It came out from a current trend of school and social integration of mentally disabled persons into society, into a natural social environment in the highest extent. The main goal of the work was to prove that the clients of Institution of social care adapt to life in the society better by means of regular contact with other people and on the contrary, the society accepts them better, too. The thesis was composed of two fundamental sections. A theoretical part explained basic problems of mental retardation and position of a person with mental disablement in the society before and after year 1990. A functional section dealt with evaluation and interpretation of research results which was carried out in a form of a questionnaire and a discussion with a purpose to refer to an importance of mutual contact of mentally disabled persons and a healthy population. The goal of the research was to verify thesignification of introducing integrated schools and the meaning of rising elementary school pupils’ awareness of the given disablement problems.
