Abstract
Rozhodla jsem se, že se inspiruji knihou Ira Levina ?Rosemary má děťátko?. Děj se odehrává v Americe v New Yorku na přelomu roku 1965, 1966. Jde o hororový, ale i psychologický román o ženě, která touží mít dítě a vzápětí opravdu otěhotní. Musí se vypořádat s řadou věcí s těhotenstvím spojených, jako je nevolnost, strach, ale i příprava pokojíčku a podobně. Zároveň ale řeší podivné situace, tajemné sebevraždy a úmrtí, které se odehrávají v jejím okolí. Navíc se dozvídá o satanistickém spolku, který by mohl ohrožovat ji i její nenarozené dítě a tak se ocitá v přímém nebezpečí. Dramatičnost a tajemnost tohoto románu mě přiměla k vytvoření kolekce, kde se zaměřuji na těhotenský oděv. Pokouším se vystihnout několik stádií těhotenství, kterými žena (hlavní hrdinka knihy) prochází. Zaměřuji se na kabáty, které mají jednotnou šedivou barvou symbolizovat hrdinčinu nevinnost. Pod kabáty jsou šaty ve stylu jednoduché košilky s tisky dětských plodů v určitém stupni vývoji.
I decided to inspire myself by a book by Ira Levin Rosemary's Baby. The story is set in America in New York at the end of 1965 and beginning of 1966. It is a horror, but also a psychological novel about a woman who desires to have a child and then really gets pregnant. She has to deal with many things associated to pregnancy, such as nausea, fear, even the preparation of a baby room and so on. Simultaneously, she is also solving the strange situation that is happening in her vicinity. Mysterious deaths and suicides. In addition, she hears about the satanic alliance that could threaten her and even her unborn child and thus finds herself in direct danger. The drama and eerines of this novel gave me the thought of making a collection of women's pregnancy clothes. I am trying to grasp several stages of pregnancy, which a woman (the heroine of the book) passes. I focus on the coats, which have a uniform gray color symbolizing the innocence of the protagonist. Under the coats, there are simple dress style shirts with prints of children's fetus at various stages of growth.
