Abstract
The study focuses on the nurse communication with dearly sick and dying patients suffering from acute leukaemia. The theoretical part of the study explains the basic communication concepts, the special needs of these patients and the specifics of the communication within assisting profession. The study further assesses the family communication of these patients, relates their communication and spiritual needs and focuses on nurses? communication with dying-stage patients. The empirical part of the study analyses the communication needs of dearly sick and dying patients and their satisfaction with the current communication. This is followed by the list of most frequent communication partners of these patients. The study further describes the patient?nurse communication and suggests its possible improvements. Lastly, the communication needs of the patients are related to their pain, the hospitalisation sequence, spiritual needs and socio-demographic characteristics.
Bakalářská práce se zabývá komunikací sester s vážně nemocnými a umírajícími pacienty s diagnózou akutní leukémie. Teoretická část vysvětluje základní pojmy a druhy komunikace, specifika onkologického pacienta a specifika v komunikaci u lidí pomáhajících profesí. Popsána byla komunikace těchto pacientů s rodinou, jejich potřeby komunikace v závislosti na jejich spiritualitě a komunikace sestry a pacienta v jednotlivých fázích umírání. Empirická část analyzuje potřeby komunikace u vážně nemocných a umírajících pacientů, jejich spokojenost s komunikací. Dále se zkoumá, se kterými skupinami osob tito pacienti komunikují. Popsána je komunikace mezi pacientem a sestrou a možné změny, které by v této oblasti mohly nastat. Dále se analyzují potřeby komunikace pacientů v závislosti na jejich bolesti, pořadí hospitalizace, spiritualitě a socio-demografických charakteristikách.
