The topic of the bachelors work is the anti-regime demonstration that took place 21st august 1988 by the occasion of twentieth anniversary of occupation of Czechoslovakia by armies of five countries of Wroclaw contract. The first chapter commonly refers to historical development in the central European states that were a part of USSR, especially in the Czechoslovakia. The main topic is being expanded in the following chapters, that refer to the preparations of demonstration, its process, but also about the punishments for those who took a part. Final chapter is about reaction of western news media, because they were very interested about contemporary events.
