    Vliv vstupu ČR do EU na informační systémy firem v potravinářském průmyslu

    The accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union caused a lot of changes throughout all sectors of the Czech industry. Therefore, the goal of this thesis is to evaluate this issue in relation to the Czech food industry and to show that the changes in this sector, caused by the membership of the EU, also bring the need for changes in IS/IT area. The thesis can be divided into three thematic parts. The first one characterizes the food infustry and the impacts of the Czech Republic accession to the EU on food industry companies. The second part is focused on the information systems used in the food industry, their specificity and the reasons of the Czech producers of food and beverages that lead to the innovation of their IS. The last part of the thesis generally describes the IS innovation projects. The goals of this thesis are supported by a practical example solving the IS innovation of a company called Vinia, a.s., the Czech producer of wine, in reaction to the accession of the Czech Republic to the EU.
