    The thesis deals with the issue of liquid cooling of glass moulds in section machines used for producing packing glass. The theoretical part of the thesis contains a summary of thermal transmittance principles and a mathematical and physical simulation. It also includes an analysis of the patent documentation on the issue of mould cooling and a draft of the new method of liquid cooling and flexible liquid supply to a glass mould. The design part of the thesis contains a concept of a model station and its actual design. The model station has been produced according to the enclosed technical documentation. The final part contains an evaluation of the technical parameters, a description of the experimental procedures and an analysis of the use of the results measured on the model station.
