    This Diploma thesis examines classroom atmosphere. That is how the class atmosphere is influenced by students, the teacher and there interaction. The paper is divided into two section. The first part covers the theoretical issue explaining the term class atmosphere, styles of education of the teacher, factors influencing class atmosphere, intergroup relationships, ways of researching class atmosphere, types of atmospheric types etc. The second part of the paper is the practical analysis of a questionnaire given to 3rd, 4th and 5th. grade students and elementary school teachers in Kopidlno. The questionnaire illustrates class atmosphere from the students' and teachers' perspectives and their reactions could be useful in the future work of other teachers.
