    This thesis deals with the historical period of the WWII in Hradec Kralove area, inCeska Skalice town. The aim and the contribution of the work is to summarize all the possiblehistorical information contained herein occured, related to different sectors. To this process Ihave used historical sources and especially the chronicles, the publications depicting events inthe city and authentic memories of people who were stigmatized and said about years 1938-1945. This work should be a benefit to those, who want to learn how the revolt and liberationtook place in Ceska Skalice.
