    Výkon trestu obecně prospěšných prací jako alternativa k trestu odnětí svobody v regionu Mladá Boleslav

    The university degree work deals with community service orders as one of many possible kinds of alternative punishment. This work has two main parts a theoretical one and a practical one. The objective of the theoretical part was to describe, through studying and presenting expert sources, the community service order, its charge, significance, enforcement, use and perspective in criminal law. The objective of the practical part was to find out, by using two types of specially-prepared anonymous questionnaires, the views and attitudes of probation officers and police and also the views and attitudes of offenders who carried out community service orders in the Mladá Boleslav region. The results of this work showed the strengths and weaknesses of community service orders and suggested practical recommendations in the utilization of alternative punishments.
