    The aim of this diploma thesis is to determine the level of creativity and the ability to play with words in early school-age children. It focuses on the childrens´ creativity and their attitude to play. Integral part of the thesis is a survey conducted by means of a test designed for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade pupils. Subsequently, the results are interpreted, allowing comparison of the particular schools, grades and pupils, as well as to look for possible achievement Differences between the sexes.
