    Prevence syndromu CAN

    The bachelor's thesis deals with the matter of the CAN syndrome prevention at  lower secondary school. The goal was to identify the level of primary prevention of the CAN syndrome in the lower secondary school of Malá Skála in terms of pupils' awareness of this problem, including revealing its sources. The thesis consists of two parts - a theoretical one and a practical one. In the theoretical part the term CAN syndrome is described - its particular basic and exceptional forms such as maltreatment, sexual abuse, neglect, secondary victimization, organized, ritual and commercial abuse. The theoretical part also includes description of particular kinds of CAN syndrome prevention. The practical part investigated, by means of a standardized interview, awareness of the CAN syndrome among 64 pupils of the lower secondary school of Malá Skála. The results of the research showed an unsatisfactory level of pupils' awareness. They then served as a basis for elaboration of the preventive programme for the CAN syndrome in the school of Malá Skála.
