    Roald Dahl a jeho tvroba pro děti a mládež

    The bachelor's thesis is focused on four prose works by Roald Dahl intended for children readers: Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Witches and The Big Friendly Giant. The aim of the thesis is to analyse and interpret these works with regard to the extent of autobiographic elements and their genre classification.The bachelor's thesis is divided into two core chapters. In the first chapter, collected information about Dahl's life is compared with the themes of his works. The second part deals with characteristics and genre matters in Roald Dahl's books for children and young adults.
