    Přínos židovské kultury a jejích hodnot české společnosti

    This Bachelor Thesis deals with specific manifestations of Jewish culture and its influence on the Czech environment. It focuses mainly on its benefits in the areas of literature, painting, architecture, music and science. The introductory chapter outlines the history of the Jewish people in Bohemia and Moravia regions and their common life with majority society. Next two chapters attend to cultural and scientific benefits of Jewish people who lived and worked in conditions of our country. Last chapter deals with the activities of organizations, which make prompt effort to revitalize the Jewish culture and its values in contemporary Czech society. The aim of this thesis is to show the benefits of the mutual coexistenceof Czech and Jewish people in the past and nowadays.
