The main aim of the work is to evaluate the possibilities of the Bluetooth technology for the needs of marketing communication and its utility for individual instruments of communication mix. The theoretical part of the thesis characterises the traditional instruments of the communication mix. However, first of all it deals with the new trends in the sphere of commercial communication with customers. The main topics are the mobile marketing, the usage of internet for the needs of marketing communication and the new marketing conception with its elements. The practical part focuses on the analysis of primary and secondary dates in relationship with the usage of the Bluetooth technology for the needs of marketing communication. On its bases there were elaborated the theoretical foundations, recommendations and suggestions of the low-budgetary projects for the communication, by means of the given technology, which represent the principal outputs of the thesis.
